The Website Is Down

If you've ever worked in IT Support or know someone who has worked in IT support you've probably already seen this video. Watch as a hapless web help guy deals with various people in his company when he is accidentally asked to restart a web server. It's hilarious (give it a chance to get into it).

My favourite part? When the guy Remote Desktops over to the sales guy's PC. :)

Two Face May Save The Day

I've mentioned previously how silly the whole Batpod motorbike thing is that Batman is supposed to ride in the new The Dark Knight film. How it's totally rediculous and would be almost impossible to ride in the real world (as opposed to the reel world).

Rest easy, these new pics of Harvey Dent (AKA Two Face) look like he might be just cool enough to balance out the crapness we know as the Crap-pod. Thanks Movieweb!

World First LPG Hybrid Vehicle

Today CarAdvice.com.au have an interesting article about a new Hyundai Elantra LPG Hybrid. Up until now all hybrids have run on petrol (gas) with Li-Ion batteries but the "Elantra LPI Hybrid Electric Vehicle" runs on LPG and has Li-poly (Lithium Polymer) batteries. Both firsts in a production car.

"Powered by a 1.6-litre Liquefied Petroleum Injected (LPI) Gamma engine coupled with a 15kW electric motor, the Elantra LPI HEV is classed as a mild-type hybrid vehicle and qualifies as a Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle - emitting just 103g/km of CO2 and 90 percent fewer pollutants."

This means it'll be 40 percent cheaper to operate than other hybrids currently available and 50 percent less than a bog standard Elantra. Pity they're so ugly.
