Play With The Big Boys

BBC News has an interesting article on a new take on the racing simulator game genre. Why race in a virtual world against AI or even online with other gamers when you could race head-to-head with REAL drivers in real-time!

iOpener Media, a Dutch company, has come up with a system that uses the GPS data from cars on the race track to plug players into a real-time simulation. Obviously players wouldn't have an affect on the cars in the real world which would either have to be solid unmoveable objects or ghost cars but it sure sounds like it might be fun.
