Kotaku is reporting on a rumour that soon you'll be replacing your gamer card image with a Mii-like "avatar" for Xbox 360 Live accounts. You could assume this is a response to the Wii's Miis but don't forget that the PS3's "Home" also features 3D avatars. I guess Microsoft just felt left out.

More news on the 360 "Miis". Apparently the same person who leaked the news has now said that they'll be playable in-game (think Wii Sports) plus the photo suggests licensing deals (one of the avatars is dressed as Dash from The Incredibles), most likely the same way Themes are done now (i.e. pay 100 MS points to get it).
