Apparently it took the weight of The Governator to announce new tax breaks for EV-producing companies in the US state of California and Tesla, being the superstar in that arena, used the occasion to tell us all some fantastic news.We've known about the Tesla "WhiteStar" sedan project for a while now but today Ze'ev Drori, CEO of Tesla Motors, told us the car will actually be called the Model S, will cost around $60K USD and will drive 225 miles on a full charge. How good is that!? For those of you who live in the modern world that's 362 km on a full charge for around $63K AUD.
If that wasn't enough for you, Elon Musk announced that Tesla will be capable of building a $30K EV within the next 4 years. Go Tesla!
